IADC WellSharp™ Well Control Training – 5-Day Course by STI
This 5-day program is designed for experienced professionals in drilling and well safety, combining rigorous theoretical instruction with hands-on practical training. Participants will learn how to detect, control, and manage well control incidents, ensuring operational safety and well integrity.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Proficient in planning well control operations, making data-driven decisions during high-pressure scenarios.
- Able to coordinate emergency responses to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment
What You’ll Learn?
- Advanced knowledge of well control principles and safety protocols.
- Expertise in pressure control, influx detection, and shut-in procedures.
- Mastery of surface and subsea blowout preventers (BOPs) and associated equipment.
- Practical application of well kill methods and emergency response strategies through realistic simulations.
